Decision Pro
Public API
Read-only REST API with your own keys and scopes: retrieve surveys, insights and decision summaries and bring them into your data warehouse or reporting.
UX research with built-in AI
Describe in one sentence what you want to find out. usabiq builds the survey, collects the responses through a link — and then tells you which problem affects how many of your customers and what to tackle first.
14 days of Decision Pro, no credit card required then continues for free automatically
Most product and process decisions are made on gut feeling or by the loudest voice in the meeting. usabiq replaces that with answers from your own customers, users or employees — collected properly, analyzed automatically and put into a defensible order.
What it is
You survey your own audience — customers, users, employees — online, via a link, on any device. usabiq brings the questionnaires: proven question frameworks from research that deliver a measurable number instead of a mood.
How it works
You write in one sentence what you want to know. usabiq builds the questionnaire from it. You share a link — by email, in your shop, in your newsletter. The AI then reads every single response and summarizes what the majority actually said.
What you get
In the end you see which problem affects how many customers, what the quickest win is and where an investment does not pay off yet. Backed by numbers and original quotes you can take straight into your next meeting.
Questions usabiq typically answers
What usabiq is not: a panel provider or a reporting project. You bring the audience, we deliver questionnaire, analysis and decision brief — right away, not as a PDF six weeks later.
Five steps, one tool. No export to Excel, no second tool for the analysis, no agency in between.
One sentence is enough: “I want to understand why new customers drop off after four weeks.” You need neither a draft questionnaire nor a choice of method — that follows in the next step.
Result: a clear research question
The AI creator suggests the right method, drafts the questions and flags leading and double-barreled questions before they do damage. You review and change whatever doesn’t fit. Or you start from a ready-made template.
Result: a questionnaire ready to launch — effort: one morning
Participants need no account and no instructions. Share the link by email, in your product, in your shop or in your newsletter — on any device. Responses come in live, including a flag for submissions clicked through too quickly.
Result: solid raw data instead of individual opinions
Open answers are grouped by theme and tagged with sentiment, rating questions are turned into metrics, groups are compared: how did new customers answer, how did existing ones? Nobody has to read and tag responses by hand.
Result: themes with frequency, sentiment and supporting quote
The Decision Engine rates every insight by impact, frequency, criticality, reliability and segment relevance and sorts them into a list: top problems, top opportunities, quick wins. Share the list via a protected link, export it or send it straight into your ticket system through the API.
Result: a prioritized action list — not a PDF graveyard
You decide how long to collect responses — the analysis updates with every new response. See it in a worked case study (in German).
Worked examples from different industries: the initial question, the chosen method, what the analysis showed — and the decision that followed. The fastest way to understand usabiq is a case that resembles your own.
E-commerce · Online shop
About seven in ten filled shopping carts are never paid for. The usual suspects — shipping costs, mandatory accounts, missing payment options — cannot be told apart in the shop data.
Two thirds of abandoners drop out because the delivery time only becomes visible at the last step — not because of shipping costs.
Case study (in German)Manufacturing · Product development
Nine ideas are on the table for the next generation — longer battery life, a quieter motor, a larger bin. Engineering and sales disagree, and the budget covers three.
Emptying the bin without a cloud of dust is by far the largest unmet need. The much-debated battery life ranks sixth.
Case study (in German)Internal communications · Intranet
The intranet was rebuilt 18 months ago for a six-figure sum. Four in ten employees never log in. Management asks whether it can be switched off again.
It is not convenience: employees don’t trust the content, because no page says whether it is still valid.

You describe your goal in one sentence. usabiq suggests the right method, generates the questionnaire and guides you to launch — the methodology lives in the tool, not in your résumé. AI assistance for building surveys is included from Research Starter; on the free plan you build the questionnaire from the included templates.

Your goal, in your own words
“I want to understand why new users drop off after onboarding.”
usabiq suggests
Every suggestion stays editable, and a bias check flags leading and double-barreled questions before the survey goes live.
The analysis is not a second tool you open afterwards — it runs on the same responses, in the same platform, with the same segments.
The AI reads every open answer, groups it by theme, adds sentiment and shows the demographic distribution per cluster. No codebook, no late nights in spreadsheets.

If research is your job, you have good reasons to distrust an AI analysis. That is why in usabiq every statement can be traced back to the individual response, every metric can be recalculated — and the AI can be switched off completely.

Want research to run as part of existing processes — backlog, ticket, data warehouse? You’ll find the API, webhooks and ready-made integrations in the next section.
Results don’t stay inside usabiq. From Decision Pro you pull insights via the API or have events pushed into your systems — and they land where decisions are made anyway: in the backlog, in the ticket, in the channel.

Decision Pro
Signed events sent to your endpoint as soon as something happens:

Everything you need to know about usabiq.
usabiq is a platform for surveying your own customers, users or employees in a structured way: you describe your goal, usabiq builds the questionnaire, and you share a link. The AI then reads every response, groups the open answers by theme and turns them into a prioritized list of what to improve first — instead of a spreadsheet nobody analyzes.
No. usabiq is built for anyone who makes product, service or process decisions: product management, executives, marketing, customer service, quality management. The methodology is built into the tool — you don’t need to know how to construct a questionnaire. Teams with researchers get the depth on top: raw data, scoring logic and segment statistics are always visible.
Yes. The methods ask about the tasks, goals and obstacles of the people you survey — not about clicks. That works for household appliances, machines, services, store processes or internal workflows just as well as for an app. One of the case studies is a product survey about a cordless handheld vacuum (case study, in German).
No. Creating surveys is a commodity today — usabiq’s value starts afterwards: scored methods (ODI opportunity score, SUS, UEQ+), statistical segment comparisons and a ranked decision summary that turns responses into a prioritized action list. You don’t stop at charts; you stop at the decision.
Yes — that is exactly what it is built for. The AI creator suggests the right method from a one-sentence goal and drafts the questions; a bias check flags leading and double-barreled questions. The template library gives you ready-made surveys per method (for example “Post-onboarding SUS” or “Feature discovery”), and the decision summary tells you directly where to start.
usabiq supports four providers — Anthropic Claude and OpenAI (USA) as well as Mistral AI (France) and T-Systems LLMHub (Germany) — and automatically fails over to the next one if a provider is down. You don’t have to configure anything. Before each call, structured profile fields are removed and email addresses and phone numbers are masked in free text; for other personal details that participants type in freely, the survey owner remains responsible. Enterprise customers can add their own API keys (BYOK) and choose their provider. If you don’t want AI at all, switch it off for the whole workspace — the switch overrides every plan.
Your survey and participant data is processed solely to provide the service — not sold and not used for advertising. Operations are being moved to a data center in Germany; we will tell you the current location and the processors involved on request. Audit log and automatic retention control are included. European providers are available for text analysis (Mistral AI in France, T-Systems LLMHub in Germany); the current default provider is Anthropic in the USA, and European providers can be selected on request. The vector computation for semantic search and “Ask usabiq” runs exclusively through a US provider — there is no European alternative for it yet.
There are five plans: Free Discovery, free forever (1 survey, 25 responses per month), Research Starter from €59 per month, Research Core from €149, Decision Pro from €349 and Enterprise on request. Annual billing saves about 20%. Every sign-up starts with 14 days of Decision Pro, no credit card required, and then automatically continues on Free Discovery.
More questions are answered on the topic pages: getting started, AI, data and integration, methods, pricing.
Participants trust you with their feedback. usabiq is built so that this trust remains justified.
Start with one method, one question and one shared link — the analysis doesn’t wait for next quarter.
